Is This Baby Ever Coming Out!!!!!

Ok I seriously am dying here. It's getting so bloody hot and I'm starting to sweat like a pig, I can't take it anymore! I need tips on how to make this baby come! I have been walking miles...seriously miles, and nothing. I'm not brave enough to do the whole castor oil thing either, I have only heard horror stories. So anyway if you have any hot tips I want them, I'm willing to try just about anything.

The castor oil works better if you do it close to your due date. I chugged it with OJ 2 days before I was due and labor started within 6 hours.

It's the last thing you probably want to do, but go to bed...(with Aaron.) It helps get things started...

ok so your gonna kill me for saying this cuz believe me I KNOW how you feel! And when people told me this I felt like punching them in the nose but now I understand it. ok here it goes- just be patient. :) some of the most important growth for him and his lungs is done in the last week. of course babies are born early all the time and they are fine. So if he comes early YEAH! I really hope he does, but if not, you can punch me in the nose. just think you don't want to be 2 days late like me or worse 10 days late like tracy was. that would suck! I have a feeling you will have him this weekend!! I love you girl and am so proud of you.

So I did the whole castor oil thing with both my boys cause I was so impatient. With Bryson it worked like the next day, with Jaxon I think I did it too early. but if you do that, plug your nose while you drink it with OJ. Go to the track and do the stairs. It is going to suck but I did it with both of mine and like within the week I had them. Actually with Jaxon like 2 days later I had him. I had both of them a week early. I walked around the track once and then did a set of stairs I did that for a mile. It helped me. And yes...spend some time in the bedroom :) I know you are probably not feeling very cute to but just gotta do it ya know! Good luck!

drink a few cups of Raspberry Tea every day, take one pill of Black Cohosh every day from now until you recover (both of these are herbs that are supposed to induce labor and help with recovery, also to prevent tearing!) The zone spot on your foot is on the outside of the middle of your heal, you have to drill in a circle all over that area on both sides. Lets see... My doctor told us if we got my water to break it would be over but he also said its really dangerous to try so don't do that! I drank the castor oil and I just wish I never did, nightmarishly DISGUSTING! As you know none of these things worked for me! Try to get her head to drop and get you to dilate, other than that you just gotta wait. Don't worry he really will come and then you won't even remember how long the wait was! No woman ever got pregnant and stayed pregnant, that baby's gotta come out!

The only thing that helps is walking and having sex. Even though it sucks having sex when your 9mo. pregnant cause its so uncomfortable. but I went on walks everyday when I was prego with my 1st and she was only a day late. So that's pretty good. I've heard portobello mushrooms help, but I dont know how true that is. P.S. I hate you, you think its hot now, I'm due in the middle of August, I have the whole freakin summer!
P.S. I saw you and Tat's comment on your blog and I wanna do lunch too. We should all go and have Jenna come too that would be soo much fun.

I am a friend of Amy fetters. I had a baby six weeks ago. I read someone suggest some spot on your foot. I had heard that too, so I went and had a pedicure and I went into labor the next day! I wouldn't do the castor oil because it can complications for your baby. It can make the baby poop and if that gets in there lungs it can cause bad things. I know someone that this happened to. He will come! Try to sleep as much as you can right now, because you won't be getting any sleep anytime soon! GOOD LUCK!

AHHH.. poor Laura! I know the feeling!!!!

I jumped rope and had lots a sex! Something in the sperm triggers labor and contractions! So do it!

Good luck!

I don't know what to tell you other than DO NOT do the castor oil. A friend of mine said it could have caused her baby to pass a bowel movement a week before she even went into labor, and that can be dangerous for the baby (the muconium can be harmful when they swallow it...). I know its not what you want to hear, but rest. The day my labor started I rested to see if it truly was labor and it was because even I rested the contractions kept coming stronger and more frequent, and trust me I had been walking and doing those "things" the doctor said to try. Just rest! He'll come. I'm excited for you though! I hope he comes soon.
