Well we had a very eventful holiday. It was a lot of fun filling up Jacks basket and then eating ALL his candy, considering most the stuff I put in his basket I got for me anyway. We watched conference and had some delicious french toast with all the works...thanks to yours truly. I really loved conference this year. I loved that they focused on moms. I felt like I needed to BE a mom instead if just playing the part. You know just letting the day to day things get so mundane that you don't stop to relish the moments you have brushing their teeth, tickling them, going on walks with them and just talking to them period. I realized I needed to stop just going through the motions. So all you brethren out there, thanks for the pep talk, I needed it! Anyway lots has been going around here, Jack has an OBSESSION with cowboys and horses. He has his boots on where ever he is. Most the time just a diaper and boots. I love it. He is such a little boy. He is turning two in a matter of weeks and I hate that he is growing up. I wish he could just stay little forever. Here are a couple of pictures we took on Easter...note the cowboy boots.

Ok for freaking real...this post is bound to be a long one, considering the last time I posted was in December and that doesn't count. So here I am, don't hate me. Prepare yourself. Here are all the things you may have missed.

Halloween. We were A-W-E-S-O-M-E. We were also the only adults dressed up at the neighborhood block party, which is also awesome. No but really how cute is my little pirate. I love him, I bite him almost everyday because he is that yummy.

My birthday. I turned 25. DREAD! I don't know what it is but I feel like an old hag now. I'm in a slump. We'll get past it, but for real what is it about turning 25 that makes you realize you're getting wrinkles around your mouth, your eyes and in between you eyebrows. Lets get honest, I about had a nervous breakdown the other day. But anyway I'm not this self-absorbed, so lets get back to my birthday ha ha ha. We celebrated with good friends good food and had sooooo much fun!

Then Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving was awesome. We had family here the whole time and I loved every second.

Now Moving on to Christmas. I was sick AGAIN! I had the flu...so Christmas was not so eventful for my little family. But we did have fun with extended family and that's what really matters right? Having fun?

Then February came and went. We had family in town what seemed like every weekend, and I think this is the point in my life when I was like, "I don't want to take pictures!" Aaron didn't want to either. And now we both regret it. Sad. Anyway Aarons family came to town on Valentines weekend and we got to celebrate with them. We had alot of fun and did a bunch of stuff. IT WAS AWESOME! But seriously.

Then Dave and Michele came to visit. We always have alot of fun with them, we went out to eat like EVERY night and enjoyed good company, played darts, and looked at model homes. Love them...til next time.

And here we are all caught up to My hubs birthday. It was was an awesome week. We celebrate in weeks over here. Days are so 2000. We had alot of fun with friends and family and went and sang karaoke after. Anyway Aaron is awesome, love him, and I was so happy he enjoyed himself.

Now if only I can keep up. I guess we'll see.

My mom makes this awesome pink popcorn, makes really cute bags for it to go in and gives it out to the whole entire neighborhood. It's scrumdiddilyumtious!

4. What was the best Christmas gift you received as a child?
An over head projector. Hahaha. Like the ones your teacher has. I always thought I was going to be a teacher. Even with an overhead that dream didn't happen.

5. What items are on your kid’s wish list this year?
Well Jack is 1. He doesn't quite have the skill to write or even tell me about a list. So I sure hope he loves the things he gets!

6. What is your favorite holiday food?
Cinnamon Rolls. Nothing says Christmas more to me then a freash batch of cinnamon rolls fresh from the oven. Cinnabun will always do in a pinch. My mouth is watering.

7. What will you be hand-crafting for the holidays?
I made myself cute Christmas count-down blocks! Cute in my opinion anyway!

8. What is your favorite holiday movie?
Christmas Story. Isn't that everyones?! "You'll shoot your eye out!"

9. Favorite holiday song?
I want a hippopatamus for christmas...best song ever. I secretly want one too. Add that to #1's five things on my wishlist.

10. Favorite holiday pastime?"
I love my whole family together. We don't necessarily do anything, but we are together. I love seeing all my brothers and sisters especially when living in different states makes it a little tough.

Weekend California Trip

Well I think I may have said this the last time we went to California, but this is officially the last trip of the summer! This past weekend we went to go see Aaron's family in Newport Beach and it was so fun! His uncle Dave and aunt Michelle came down from Seattle and we met up with his brother Adam and tracy and kaelin and we went to Disneyland! Jack loved it! Aaron was kind of wierded out by all the characters... notice how he is like five feet away from the characters in the pictures. He said they creeped him out, hahaha! We also went to the beach and that was a great time! Thank you so much Adam and Tracy for opening your home to us again, and thanks for the great time Uncle Dave and Aunt Michelle! Weekend at the Ranch

This past weekend we went to Aaron's families ranch up near Showlow, AZ and it was so much fun! It was really nice to get out of the heat and spend some time up there. We got there late Friday afternoon and everyone had already put their tents up. It was really windy so we got help from Aaron's brother-in-law Charlie. Aaron and Charlie were trying frantically to get the tent up and staked down but the wind was so hard. We put our bags in the tent to hold it down and then all of the sudden a huge gust of wind came and see ya! The tent did a full-on front flip and landed on someone else's tent. I was laughing so hard, but Aaron was getting frustrated, hahaha. Anyway, they got it up and staked down and everyone was making fun of us because we have a huge eight man tent for three people! I like it roomy! We got a queen size air matreess, and a huge cooler.... I felt like it was a mini-house. Jack had so much fun with all the little cousins. We got him cowboy boots and it was so cute! The theme of the reunion was a Luau and all the cousins did little Hawaiian dances and then Aaron did a full on Fireknife dance... (see pics) That was A-Mazing! Well the summer is kind of coming to an end and I am excited to not have to go on anymore trips. It'll be nice to just be home for awhile. Well, here are a few pics. California Trip!!

This last weekend we went to the U.S. Open of Surfing competition at Hungtington Beach, CA and it was totally awesome! We stayed with Adam and Tracy and their cute little girl Kaelin in Newport Beach. Jack had so much fun, he loved the waves so much! The swell that came in this weekend was the biggest of the year and it peaked out to 25 ft in some sets!! It was crazy!! In the all-star session Kelly Slater shot the pier and everyone was going crazy! Well here are a few pics of the weekend, enjoy!

A couple weeks ago we got to go visit Farm town USA and celebrate my Granny's 90th Birthday. Yes you are seeing correctly I said 90! How awesome is that. I guess I still have a lot of living to do. Anyway we had a conference call(once again you are seeing correctly) about what the family talent should be. This was obviously a big deal for my dad being as we have never had one. We have no talent. So after a lengthy debate we decided. My sisters Emily and Ashley and my brother Matt and some friends made DVDs for all of us to practice our number from home. IT.WAS.HOT! We got to Farmington and boy did we sell it out on that stage. WHEW! Check it out for yourselves if you don't believe me. Grab some tissues because it's just that amazing!

Well it is fathers day. I just wanted to take some time to say how much I love 2 of the most important men in my life. I love my dad more than anything. He has literally saw me through thick and thin. I have been pretty crazy and I would say out of all the kids I gave him the biggest run for his money(not that I am proud to say that). But his patience and love for me never ceases to amaze me. He is THEE Dapper Dan. He always looks so important(haha...really). He is the best grandad to Jack, he spends every spare second at home he has with the little bugger. To top it off he is so generous, kind, and loving. I love you dad!

Next is MY MAN! Whoop whoop! Words cannot tell how much I love this guy. Aaron you are the bomb dig. I love you with all that I've got and I am so lucky to be married to you. You are so kind to me. You kind of let me have my way. You laugh at all my jokes (which are very funny by the way), sweet dance moves, and yourself. You are so sweet. You look good in your softball pants. You always ALWAYS make. me. laugh. You are the best with Jack, you were from the second he came into the world. You are such a good father. (This sounds more like something for like a husbands day?). I just love you. Jack adores you. You are our pick for #1 dad!

Jack's Bday Bash!!

Hola Friends and fam! Just a forewarning that this post is extremely picture heavy! We finally got to importing our pics from Jack and Crew's first bday party so I want to put some up. It was so fun! We had a full on petting zoo, pony rides, popcorn and cotton candy machines, Aaron on the BBQ grill, face painting, and tons of other fun little games. Jack and crew had a blast! I think the best part was when they got their little cakes and Jack was so meticulous that he didn't want to dig in to the cake. Once he saw Crew getting into his he let loose and made a great mess! Hence the new shirt he has on in the pictures toward the end of the party! Well, I want to say thanks to my mom, Elizabeth, and my Aunt Debbie. You guys did such a great job putting this together and Debbie your cakes were awesome. Well enjoy the pics!

Holy Cow I can't believe our little Jack is one year old! We woke up this morning and sang him Happy Birthday about three times in the different variations that we know and he loved that. Then we went downstairs and opened some gifts for him. We got a dancing brobbie from Yo Gabba Gabba... he loves it! We had some awesome pancakes (Jack's favorite) and he wore this funny hat during breakfast. Later today we'll have cake and what nots, but the main party will be on Monday with Jack's BFF, Crew. Wahoo! This bundle of joy is finally here. Congratulations to Analee, Charlie and Nate on your new little bundle! We got to visit Analee and Mason(I love that name!) today at the hospital. This kid has got cheeks for days and tons of black hair! You guys are awesome...we are so happy for you.

Warning this post is extremely picture heavy!!! We had the opportunity to go to Disneyland this weekend for my niece Kate's four year old birthday!! It was so fun!! My whole family was able to go. Spencer and Jenny were there, Emily and Matt, Adam and his new lady friend Sky,Matt and Ashley, and then my mom and dad and us! We flew there from Falcon Field airport and Aaron and I are both scared crapless of flying so it was pretty crazy! Aaron said he wanted to sit up front just in case the plane went down so he could help land us safely?? He doesn't even know how to fly, oh well. Needless to say we arrived safely. We had so much fun and Jack loved every minute of it! We went on the jungle river ride, Pirates of the Caribbean, it's a small world, Peter Pan, and a bunch of others. On kate's Bday we had lunch with all the princesses at Airel's Grotto... She loved that! I think Jack's favorite thing, along with Aaron's, was the Pixar parade. Jack loved seeing Lighting McQeen, and Tow Mater, and Sully from Monsters Inc. On Saturday Aaron's bro and sis and niece Kaelin came too and we went to Bug's life and rode all of those rides, that was sweet. We ran from ride to ride trying to get as much fun in as possible. We had an awesome time. Anywho Happy Birthday Kate and thanks Dad for making this all happen. My feet are killing me!! Enjoy the pics!

What up Family and Friends! I don't know if this is normal, and frankly I don't really care, I just want to get on here and say how freeking awesome life is. I feel so blessed to be married to such an amazing girl and to have such a great baby boy. Laura has been so supportive of me in all of my en devours and she does such a great job in helping me believe that I can achieve anything I want. She is so rad! This last week I was super behind in work, it just kept piling up and up and up and it was nearly impossible for me to catch up on it all. I asked her if she would be willing to help me and she was totally down! Together we through a "work party" til one o'clock in the morning catching up on stuff that I had brought home from work, that is so awesome!! Thanks babe! You are amazing!

And Jack is just a total stud. I have heard parents say before how they learn so much from their kids, and I never really understood that until now. Jack is always so happy. His thirst for knowledge is amazing. He tries over and over and over again to accomplish little things and his persistence is amazing. For example, he is starting to learn sounds and certain words, and he babbles all the time. Then tonight we were watching 24 and I was all "Cool" and then he started making the hard C sound! Then I kept saying, "K" "K" "K" 'K" and he was repeating it after me, then I said, "ool", "ool", you get the idea, and then he totally said it! It was awesome! Anyways, sorry if you all think this is lame. I am just so stoked. I am so grateful to Heavenly Father and his hand in mine and Laura's life. He truly picked us up out of the grasps of the adversary and has turned this into something beautiful and great. I know that none of this could have been possible without him.

Sweets turns 28!

So as some of you may or may not know A-ron turned the big 2-8. It was quite a milestone for him. Between the hot flashes, gray hairs, and losing his eye sight, it was awesome! But seriously we celebrated big time. For the morning festivities we had pancakes and ESPN. Afternoon rolled around and my parents watched Jack and I took Aaron to a spring training game(Diamondbacks at Giants). We had awesome seats! We were literally in front of the dug out. Needless to say Aaron was in heaven. He got a signed ball by Eric Brynes along with all of the eight year old boys, yes Aaron was the only male over eight yelling for autographs...it was hilarious. We got good food and sat back and caught the game and some rays, it was great! Later that night we went with some friend to BJ's pizza and got some yummy food! I just want to say how lucky I am to have such an awesome hubby! He has such a zest for life! He has so much joy! He helps me to look on the positive and see the happiness in the small things. He's such a hard worker, whether its his job, our home, or whatever he puts his blood, sweat and tears into it. He's got a great sense of humor, and he gets mine(which alot of people don't). He makes me feel loved and appreciated. He never goes a day without saying I love you. He is an outstanding father. He and Jack have an unreal bond. He loves his boy...and his future children. STARK RAVING MAD!

So my sweet little choncho has been really sick. It started off with a cough, then he woke up from his nap and I heard the all to familiar sound of croup strewn in that little cough of his. It was Friday, his doc was booked, it was 3:00. So my mom and I headed to a pediatric urgent care, bless her heart! Anyway we get there and there was one person in the room waiting, I repeat, one. So we are thinking this is awesome we will get right in. Welp 2 hours passed and basically you had a totally enraged baby, mom and grandma. Soon after the two hour mark in waltzes our doctor. She was dumb as rocks. First of all she had a hacking cough which totally bugs, since I'm a total germ-a-phobe. I mean come on people cover your mouth! But a doctor... gallivanting around coughing all over things....bleh. Anyway she asks me what going on with Jack. I tell her that my lil Choncho has been having a croupy cough and stuffy nose and a fever and has been tugging on his ears like crazy(symptomatic of an ear infection, so I thought anyway). She looks at me with glazed eyes. She starts taking notes on a torn piece of scrap paper that looked like a flyer of some sort...my mom pointed this out to me. She then proceeds to check his vitals. She looked into his ears, checked his lungs and everything around those parts and says, well since he has had croup twice before I am sure you know what it sounds like. Let's go ahead and give him the steroid shot to open up his airways. She tells me everything else looks great, he's breathing well he doesn't have an ear infection and so on. So we leave the urgent care, a little leery...but there was not much else we could do. Well Saturday night comes along. I just get a gut feeling that something isn't right. I asked Aaron if he could give Jack a blessing. So Mike Canter comes over...thanks Mike, and they give him a blessing, I immediately calm down, Jack starts to breathe better and eventually falls asleep. Well 1:00 am rolls around and Jack is crying in pain. That is thee worst sound to ever hear as a mother. I get up and Aaron takes his temperature. It was 103.8. How scary! We call my mom to see what we should do...after all she is a mother of five. She gives me the advice. I take it. Jacks fever eventually creeped back down. Well the urgent care sad excuse for a doctor said that the symptoms should go away in about 4 days. As of last night they hadn't, they had just kept getting worse. We gave Jack another blessing...thanks Mike. Then Mike's wife, my good friend Randa who is a nurse came over and listened to him to make sure everything was A-OK. Thanks Randa. Well everything sounded good as far as she could tell, and I got my piece of mind. Well this morning after little sleep I wake up and take Jack into the doctor. Which by the way took about 20 minutes. She told me that Jack may have had croup before and that the steroid shot had helped. But that he still has it as well as RSV which is why the croup wouldn't go away. Not only that he also had double ear infections. I sat there dumb founded. That stupid doctor at the urgent care didn't even see the ear infections...didn't bother to listen up in his bronchials...ugh I am so mad. Well anyway long long long story short. I just am super upset and I want to kick the crap out of that lady. My dad asked me how I would get all the crap out and I said I would ring her colon. I AM LIVID! More important then that, I just wanted to let my friends know and anyone else who may stumble across this, DO NOT GO TO THE PEDIATRIC URGENT CARE ON COOPER AND STAPLEY. It would be in your best interest to go see a real doctor at an adult urgent care or dare I say just go to the hospital. But that lady had crap for brains and obviously had know idea what she was talking about, and my baby had to suffer this whole time through alot of pain. That's my spiel.

So I decided I should probably start doing shorter smaller posts of the haps here otherwise I never get on and want to blog about something. It just seems like to much to do...so heres whats has been going on.

Jack is awesome...he is 9 months. Crazy. He's pretty close to walking and turning into a little dare devil/hellion. He loves the stairs which scares the crap out of me because it means a fall right onto the tile. Yikes! I guess it's time to invest in a gate.
The economy has really been taking a toll on my hair. I have roots for days. There is more important things to spend money on I suppose. I guess if that's my only problem I shouldn't be complaining. I know plenty of people that have it worse off. I think I'm going to make an appointment anyway. I was never a thrifty person... so why start now?
Aaron is working on his man cave aka garage. He think it's sweet.( Just a fridge and his speed bag) haha I find myself out there alot. It's fun to hit that thing. Anyway he's getting so buff that his sleeves rip when he puts his shirts on. It's awesome!

2009 BABY!

Hello fellow blogees! It has been such a busy holiday season...I have no clue how people get on here and have everything so up to date. Not me my friends. I take my sweet time. So savor and enjoy what your about to read! Haha anyway. Christmas was very eventful. My whole fam dam came down and stayed at my mom and pop's house. This should have been and I repeat SHOULD have been awesome except for the fact that EVERYONE had the stomach flu! First my niece got it, then my sister in law and from then on people were dropping like flies. So Aaron and I being the logical beings and germ freaks we are, got out of there stat! We woke up the next morning and opened our presents with Jack. He is getting so fun and so big! He was actually pretty into his presents, so I got rid of all the boxes and string I saved for him just in case. He was screaming and crawling everywhere...basically losing all control! haha no not really, but he was crawling from toy toy playing with everything. Later in the day we headed over to the morgue aka my parents house and got in and out of there, seeing as we wanted no part in the stomach flu epidemic. We then ventured over to Aaron's aunt Cindy's with all of his mom's family! They always make thee best food! Not to mention it is always good company. While we were there I felt a rumble in my tummy and asked Aaron to head home. I spent a wonderful Christmas night puking my brains out! It was FANTASTIC! It gave me a great jump start to shedding those Christmas pounds. Later in the week (quick transition I know, but who really wants to hear about my throw up situation?) Aaron's fam came down! It was alot of fun to get to see them and spend time with them. We had a small Christmas after-party at Analee's with presents and food to boot! Then new years eve rolled around and with everyone feeling better we had to PARTY(it's really fun putting things in all caps, try it)!First we went out to breakfast, it was Delicious. Then we tried our hats at bowling. It was awesome. I took bowling in high school and have loved it ever since. You better believe I won one game and the other game I beat Aaron by a point...he was devastated! We did our resolution exchange which is exactly like doing a white elephant gift exchange. I ended up having to make the best grilled cheese sandwich by the end of the year, Aaron ended up with being on time to church every week, which is kind of lame because he is! Anyway I'll let you know how the sandwich thing goes. We set up the movie outside with a big screen and surround sound and watched Transformers, those of us with babies stayed inside and watched Ghost Town, it was really funny. We had my moms famous Chocolate cake which is an absolute dream and waited for midnight! I rang in the new year with a smooch from my sweet cheeks aka my man and drank some martinellis with the rest of the clan! We have had such an amazing year. 2008 will definitely be hard to beat. But bet your bottom dollar we are sure going to try for an amazing 2009! We love all of you and our thankful for all of our friends and family. You are all such a blessing in our lives and we aspire to be like most of you haha no, but seriously. We love you all happy 2009!

Hello... This is Aaron for this post. Well my mom's bday was this past December ninth, I can't believe another year has gone by. Time cruises so fast. We celebrated her bday by going to the grave to sing Happy Birthday with Analee and Charly, then me, Laura, and Jack went to Dairy Queen and got birthday treats in her behalf. I miss her so much, I am so grateful for the knowledge that families can be together forever. I am confident that it is not just some good thought or idea, but that indeed, through our savior and his gospel we will be with our loved ones for the eternities. When we go to my mom's grave we usually tell stories about her and share memories, but this time we thought for a change we'd update her on all that has happened since she has passed. Wow a lot of stuff has happened that she has missed out on, but I know she was with us in spirit. I love you mom!! Happy Birthday!! We all miss you very much!

Uncle Dave and Aunt Michelle came into town this weekend and we had a lot of fun playing Guitar Hero World Tour and hanging out. We went to the Suns/Knicks game last night and it was Mike Di'antoni's return back to AZ. I was so upset because he got a standing ovation and I was hoping that the crowd would have boo'd him out of the building. But, to my shigrin, we were the only ones in the whole arena booing him. Jack had a great time. It was also Laura's first game and she loved it!! Well... I hope all of our friends and family are having a great holiday season. Enjoy the updated pics

Well I wanted to get on here and tell my sweet baby momma how much I love her and Happy Birthday!!! Sunday was Laura's Bday... it was really cool. The festivities started Saturday night where we went to dinner with some friends to Cheesecake Factory and had so muy deliciouso food! Then Sunday morning I made Laura some bomb french toast and sang her Happy Birthday to wake her up. We had stake conference at 10am so that was cool, and the we were able to relax the rest of the day. We were able to sprinkle in a little movie watching with The Love Guru, which wasn't as bad as people made it out to be (Liberal Media). We ate some great frozen pizza from CPK and topped it off with a great cake! Then we went over to her parents house for more cake and ice cream... yum! Laura I love you so much! I am the luckiest man on earth to have you as my eternal companion. You are the greatest wife and such an awesome mother to Jack. I hope you had the best birthday ever. I love you.

Halloween was soooo fun!! As you can see from the pics below we were 80's rockers, and Jack was a litte bear. It was so fun. We went to a little neighborhood potluck and then handed out candy back at our house. My sis Analee, bro-in-law Charlie, and nephew nate came over and Nate was a cowboy, it was so funny. Well I am not really sure how to write or post this because it is a little uncomfortable for me to do. I was recently diagnosed with precancerous cells in my cervix as well as dysplasia. This means alot of things, mainly that this could progress into something more serious. Its a weird feeling to hear the doctor say that I could have a form of cancer. I'm 23 almost 24. It is just crazy to me. I have known for a little bit and it has now just hit me. I guess things happen for a reason. Heavenly father only gives us challenges that we as individuals are strong enough to handle. I'm grateful to be able to test out my strength and faith in him, but also scared out of my mind. Anyway I go in for my biopsy on the 19th to see exactly what I am dealing with. I would appreciate all your prayers. I know that it my seem weird to ask for, but I really feel that I need as many as I can get right now. I feel lucky to be diagnosed with something that is treatable. I am grateful for Aaron and my family's support. I'll post any new updates, but for now please keep my family and I in your prayers. Thank you!

Sealed for Time and Eternity

What up, Aaron here. I just wanted to write a quick something regarding our sealing this weekend. It was so amazing! We had so much support, thank you to all our friends and family members who came to support us. Thursday night Laura went through and got her endowments, it was such an awesome experience. It was so cool to look over at her and see her in the temple, such a babe!! Friday was our sealing and that was by far the crowning point of my life so far. Laura and I walked into the sealing room and our sealer knew both of our families really well. He bore his testimony of eternal families and how special of an occasion this was for us. He went into great detail on how important it is to be sealed together as a family in the temple. After Laura and I were sealed together they brought Jack in to seal him to us. He was all in white and they put his little hand on top of ours and sealed us together for time and all eternity. It was so amazing!!! This past year has been awesome, but now that we are sealed I feel like our joy has been multplied by 100! My brother in law asked me if I felt different, I told him that there was more of a confidence and a calmness now knowing that we will be together forever. So awesome!! Anyway, we got tons of pics taken, but they are being developed, we'll get them scanned and post them up asap. But until then enjoy this one of Laura, Jack, and me in front of the temple. Holla!

It's our Anniversary today. We actually made it...haha. But all jokes aside it's been a fantastic one. We have had a lot happen in such a short period( I never thought years were short until I graduated high school, I hate getting older bleh!). Anyway we have had a baby, bought a bunch of stuff..including house and car, got into debt hahaha that ones a joke (Aaron would like me to reiterate that we are not in debt), and turned our lives around with a whole new perspective. So bam! There is our life in a nutshell. It has been such a blessing to add Jack to our crew. Aaron and I would not be who we are today with out that sweet baby! I also want to say what a wonderful amazing man I married. I totally lucked out in the marriage lottery. His rugged good looks tickle my fancy, he is such a help around the house, he has a work ethic that can sometimes drive my lazy bum crazy, he is hot...did I say that one already? And he is just an all around a good genuine person. I am grateful for him. So anyway I know that you are all dying to know the details of our anniversary, so I will fill you in. We decided to celebrate Friday because it fell on a Sunday. Analee, Aaron's sissy helped out tons by watching Jack and after we dropped him off we headed off to Cheesecake Factory and a movie. After a lot of wrong turns and traffic we decided to go to Charlestons to make the movie. We walked in and there was no wait which is freaking awesome! I had the steak of my dreams(it was marinated in pineapple juice and soy sauce), crescents to die for and we reminisced about this past year. It was great, kind of like playing the compliment game in a round about way...if you know me then you know what that is. Anyway we went to go see House Bunny, because I love dumb movies like that, and of course it was no longer showing. So instead we went and saw Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist opening night with a bunch of high school girls...awesome( Aaron told on them cuz they were yelling throughout the movie,hahaha!). It was ok, but since we love Michael Cera it made it worth while. Well to end the night we hit up Bahama Bucks( I love this place...strawberry colado and cream tastes like a dream in my mouth!) and picked Jack up and went home to sleep! Twas a great night indeed. I love anniversary's they are like mini birthday without turning older. Anyway if you read this much thanks for taking an interest in our lives! I am grateful for the people I have in my life more importantly Aaron! I love you sweet cheeks!

Birthdays and Baseball Games

Hello hello! Well we have been sooooo dang busy it is ridiculous. I don't even know where to start. We started off the month with 3 birthdays for 3 of our favorite peeps. My nephew Nate (Analee's) super studley boy had his 2nd birthday! He is growing so big and says the cutest things! We headed over to their house and had a big birthday bash 2 year old style. Analee pulled out all the stops. The house was decorated bubbles were popping, music was jamming (it was called disco baby...hilarious) and to top it off some yummy cake! Anyway we love the Culler fam and it was fun to get to spend another birthday with them. Nate's first birthday Aaron and I were still dating... crazy how time flies. The second birthday was my pops! What an awesome guy! He just turned 59. ..I can hardly believe it. He is still doing front flips off the diving board...I'm not saying they're good but a front flip is a front flip. We spent the day with my parents and had lemon meringue pie, which I had no idea I even liked...I think I might have been craving sweets who knows. But anyway there is not much more to say except I love my dad and it was so fun to spend his birthday together. Next was Adam. He came in town to surprise my dad for his Bday and then 3 days later his came along. He is a great older brother. Everyone should be jealous. We went to outback and got him some hair products with my discount and that was that. It was fun to see him get to know Jack better. Jack even fell asleep on him which is very rare! we love ya Ad! Well just when you thought I was done posting I'm not...haha sorry this is so long! Well for our next adventure Aaron's aunt and uncle Dave and Michelle came into town! I absolutely love these guys. We laugh so much and always have a good time. We went with them to the Diamondbacks game and sat at Fridays front row. For those of you who don't know it's TGI Fridays up in left field seats. It was awesome. Between the 4 of us we could order a 130 dollars worth of food tickets included. By the end of it Aaron was dry heaving and we all wanted to throw up. It was disgusting how much food we ate. Anyway we have been having so much fun! We are getting the house move in ready (cleaning, painting and tearing off wall paper attached to drywall...no fun) needless to say we are excited for our new house and a garage! Thanks to our good friends Matt and Kim and Noal Ba/Gary it has been going smoothly! We love you guys. For the time being that sums up everything. Enjoy a few pics!

Welp folks I'm officially lonely. I never thought I would say this but I hate being alone or I guess I should say without my better half. I have always been more of the independent type I should clarify...I was never a loner (not that I know of anyway)...that's not so much the case now. It's me and Jack now and we both miss Aaron's sweet little guts out. Jack is sick which does not make the situation better. It helps that my sis is in town with her hubby and their darling daughters Kate and Ruby. I shouldn't complain..they actually were evacuated out of Houston due to Hurricane Ike. Can you imagine? I couldn't. Anyway it's scary being alone especially when your a freak out artist. I have already thought of about 40 worst case scenarios. And don't worry I called the police on a guy in our complex only to have the cops come to my door to tell me he was delivering fliers... how was I supposed to know? Anyway I salute you single mothers out there. You are truly amazing. I also salute hermits because being alone is no fun, and they seem to like it just fine.

What up Fam and Friends! Aaron here, I just wanted to get on here and say that we just closed this afternoon on our house! We are so stoked! We got a sick deal on a model home that was bank owned. It has three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and it's upgraded to the max since it was a model! We got a super good deal on it since it was owned by the bank! Go Big!! Alright here are some new pics of what we've been up to. My teeth still hurt like a mother, but it seems to be getting better. We have had a fun couple of weeks, I played on Scarlett's softball team with some of her friends. We played this team straight out the trailers from A.J.. It was hilarious, I thought half of the team could eat me for dinner, except for the fact that the team had 4 teeth in total! A fight almost broke out when their player ran into one of ours and then she started yelling at our player. Our pitcher, which was 5 ft. nothing, got in the other girls face and started yelling at her to chill out, she called her a biyotch, I was dying because the other girl had no idea what a biyotch was. Aaron came to cheer me on with Scarlett's hubby Cory. It was hilarious to see to them in the stands with Jack and Crew, pushing the strollers and yelling at the other team....talk about role reversal!! Anyway last night we went to the Diamond Backs game and we were able to score sweet seats from Aaron's work, thanks Kathy! It was really fun taking Jack to his first MLB game. We got some suveniors for him. Someday he'll appreciate it when the players become hall of famers. Anyway hope everyone has the Labor Day of the century! My Teeth Suck!

So ever since my first tooth I was plagued. I hate the dentist so I always put off going there. If you know how cavities work, they only get worse with time. And if you know Aaron you know that he has absolutely beautiful teeth. I mean I want to pull them out of his head and put them in mine. Well anyway one night I was complaining about a cavity that I have had for quite some time. I knew Aaron would never understand because of his perfect teeth status. I knew in my heart that my tooth was a goner, but I didn't want to face reality. Well I asked Aaron if he could schedule an appointment for me to get it looked at. So he schedules it for the next week. After he gets off the phone, I explained that it really hurt and I should probably go sooner. He didn't really want to call right back to reschedule so he wanted to look at my tooth to see if I really needed to go in sooner. I show him, and I can just see his face go from a complete smile to absolute horror. He gets on the phone imediately and tell the lady I need an emergency extraction. So I go in the next day to the dentist who happens to be Aaron's uncle(bless his heart). He basically tells me that if I want teeth by the time I'm thirty I have alot of work to do. So he gets started numbs me up and pulls my freakin' tooth out. It hurt like a mother. Then I go in the next week to get the stiches out from that ordeal, only to schedule more work. Well I go in today and let's just say that my face is so numbed up my eye is sagging. Not to mention it's totally blood shot. I look like freaking quazimoto without the hump on drugs. Anyway he did an awesome job and after an hour of work I have two beautiful gold teeth! Woohoo! I'm staright gangsta now. I really didn't want my back molars gold but it will have to do. Hopefully I don't ever get mugged, I'm absolutely sure that if a mugger saw my beautiful gold teethers he pick them out in a flash! Anyway Besides my horrible dentistry saga my fam is doing awesome. Jack is growing up so fast. It is crazy that he is almost 4 months. He is laughing and grabbing on to things...mostly my hair. He is a cute little bugger. Aaron is just working away doing normal Aaron things. I can't keep up, he seriously has so much energy, which is good for me because he gets alot done. What can I say I absolutely love the guy. Anyway I will put more pics up soon!

Jack's Blessing and Aaron's Graduation Weekend

Hello Hello... we've had a crazy past three weeks full of fun events! I was able to go to Utah for a week and visit my Grandma Giles with my mom and Jack and Aaron had to stay home and work... he got a lot of stuff done, the house was immaculate when I got home, and he also got a lot of wii playing in. The cabin was awesome and as soon as I got home it was time to prepare for Aaron's graduation. The graduation was at Cardinal's Stadium and that was really cool to see. Aaron looked so good in his cap and gown, me and Jack are so proud of him! Then that Sunday was Jack's baby blessing. That was a really cool experience. Aaron blessed him and right when he started the prayer Jack started crying and he cried the whole way through until he heard the ending of the blessing "in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen" and he stopped crying! It was funny that he stopped crying once the blessing was over. Aaron's family was in town that weekend and we had a big BBQ after the graduation on Saturday and a lunch at my parent's house on Sunday after the blessing. Jack is doing awesome. He is getting big and making all sorts of funny noises, I'm loving it. I started work again this Monday so its kind of a bummer, but I work from home so its all good in the hood. Holy cow Picture Mania!! Pre-apologies for picture overload, we had such an awesome time in Florida over the 4th. We went to Marco Island and stayed at the Marriott Resort. It was so sweet! we rode wave runners, sailed on sail boats, swam in the sweet pool, ate great food, and had a lot of fun with the entire fam. The bros went and played golf on a championship course and every water hazard had gators!! There are a couple pics where you can see how close the gators are to the fairway and the sand traps. What up! Well Jack is now 7 weeks old and he is growing like a weed!! Things are going so rad, He is starting to laugh and smile and coo, and get all excited at certain things like blinking stars that play classical music... Thanks Baby Einstein!! Laura is doing really good, she's enjoying her time off work and spending it with Jack. We are going to Marco Island Florida this Saturday for a week and we are super stoked!! So I am finally to a point where I can actually do something besides hold Jack! It has been a crazy 3 weeks since he has been here...I can't believe it's been 3 weeks already. Being mom has been amazing, crazy, tiring, and a whole bunch of other things. I love him to death. I never knew that you could love something so much. The whole thing except for being pregnant the last month was a breeze. My labor went so smooth and really fast. I lucked out. I mean I went on a walk for a mile before I realized that I should get to the hospital, and 3 hours later, there he was in all his glory. He has grown an inch and a half, and gained about 2 pounds, he's a hungry boy! Anyway here are some new pics! We had a mini photo shoot, hahaha! Thanks to everyone for all of their help!

Our Little Jack has Arrived!!!

Aaron here... Laura is a little down and out right now because The countdown is over!! Thursday May 1st, 2008 at 1:01am our little boy Jack joined our family! He is so adorable! He was 6lbs, 12 ounces and 19in. long. It was such an amazing experience! Laura started contracting around 9pm Wednesday night, the doc called to see how she was feeling and she told him about the contractions, he said we should go to the hospital, but she wanted to make sure they were real so we went on a walk and then they started coming two minutes apart! We went down to the hospital and they said she was ready to go! We got to the hospital at 10pm, and three hours later our baby boy was born. He is soooo awesome, handsome, adorable, and all of those all at the same time! Laura is feeling pretty good, but just getting her rest. She did such an amazing job, and she was up and at em the next day walking around and feeling good. It was so sureal seeing Jack enter this world. They put him on Laura's stomach and he stopped crying and was wided eyed looking all around. He is so amazing and cute! It was such an awesome experience for me being able to hold him after the nurses did all there tests and warmed him up. Words can not describe the joy. I love just holding him and looking at his face... I stayed up all night with him the first night holding him and looking at him in awe while laura got her sleep. Well this weekend was super exciting. My little sis got her mission call a while back and is taking off soon. We had her farewell this weekend and it was amazing! She sang "A poor way faring man of grief" sp? and it was so angelic!! We had all the fam in town and that was super fun in itself. Ashlee has been called to serve in the Everrett Washington mission, it's really sweet cuz that's actually where she was born, and my dad was a bishop there for 5 years! What are the freekin odds?! From what I know it went really well, I wasn't there, but I did manage to get there at the end to get some good grub and see what kind of goodies we got! Seriously a huge thank you to everyone! Aaron's bday Bash

Hola Friends and Family! This is Aaron here... Laura threw me the most bomb Bday week possible! I started off with her buying Rockband for me and having Dan and Scott coming over and jammin!! Then we went to California for five days and had the trip of our lifetime. We stayed at Adam and Tracy's in Newport Beach, great times! We played lots of Rockband, ate lots of food, as seen in the pic at Lucille's BBQ, went to Hollywood, and hit the beach!

When we went to Hollywood we decided to go up into the Hills and see if we could find any celebrity homes, and sure enough I spoted Jason Lee from My Name is Earl in his drive way talking to his friend. I saw him and was all "stop the car, that's Jason Lee"! I went out and talked to him for a bit and got a few pics! He was way cool. We also spent a day in Hollywood with Laura's brother Adam and cruised Melrose, Rodeo Drive, and even hit up a screening of a short film! Boo Ya!!

Monday we hit the beach and it is pretty apparent that I need a serious tan! Laura and I have decided to make our Saturdays our "Sun Days" and go outside by the pool for a couple of hours. hahaha. While in Newport we tried to track down Chrissy and Clay from the Newport Harbor MTV show, we found their houses, but never saw them outside... oh well, now we can stalk them every time we go to Newport, hahaha just joking.. but seriously. What up!! We got our 3-D pic of Jack today and here are his best takes.... He performed pretty well in his 1st photo shoot, but was a little nervous and hid his face sometimes behind mommy's tummy. He's got cute puffy cheeks, and a cute nose... we can't wait to see him in 2 months when he doesn't look so bronze...

This week has been really good. We transferred to a new doctor(our originally doctor was lame) and the new doc was money! We had a sweet ultrasound of baby Jack and we found out that he is actually due about two weeks before we originally thought! So Laura's due date is now May 1st! We also had some funny unexpected news that Jack's measurements were above normal as far as his height was concerned, haha! Being that Laura and I aren't exactly the tallest of the group we thought Jack would follow in our footstep, but it turns out that the tall Cardon gene looks to be pulling through for baby jack! He just may tower over his old man! hahaha

Speaking of the old man, Aaron had a basketball game that Laura and little sis Ashlee came to and cheered him on. He played well, and thanks to the cheering of Laura and Ashlee he scored the last second three pointer to win the game but they forgot there was still five seconds left on the clock... the opposing team hail mary'd it down the court and got a final second lay up to win by one... sad... I felt like a Phoenix Sun... oh well... Life goes on, got to love church ball. Enjoy the recent pics:

What's New!

Hello family and friends! These last three weeks have been pretty fun in the Elder fam. We had a bomb New Year's. We went bowling as a family on new year's eve day... it was great times!! After that we played money grows on tree's and that was awesome! Later that night we set up the projector in the backyard of the Cardon's and watched Pirates of the Carribean. (sp?) Laura and I had a great time and are really looking forward to 2008! This year is going to be action packed! We are looking forward to our little boy jack joining our family. Laura is doing really well, we can't wait! I graduate in July... I can't wait! Then we look forward to October where we get to be sealed together as an eternal family! We are soooo excited! This year is going to rock! Thank you to everyone for all of your prayers and support. Here are some bomb pics...

Christmas was a blast!!

Well Christmas 2007 was a total blast!! Laura and I went to Utah for a few days to see all the clan up there and that was awesome! All of the kids were home so that made it really fun. It was 25 degrees outside during the day and there was snow everywhere!! We had our Christmas up there Saturday night and then flew back to AZ on Sunday. Christmas at the Cardon's was awesome as well!! All the Cardons were home and we had great times! It was really fun chillin and hangin out, all together it was a fantastic Christmas!!!

Nine More Days Til Christmas!!

What up Family and Friends!! Well it's only nine more days til Christmas and Laura and I can not wait!! We leave Friday morning for Utah to spend with the Elder fam then we'll be back in AZ for Christmas day to be with the Cardon's.... great times ahead from both sides of the fam! This weekend we had a lot of fun with Uncle Dave and Aunt Michelle comin into town! Laura and I got a few pics next to our christmas tree, Laura has done an awesome job making this garland, and we put candy canes all over it, so we can eat them all after Christmas. We should finish decorating the tree this weekend sometime. We all went to Tia Rosa's with Uncle Dave and Aunt Michelle then we played some wii at at our house after! Good Times!! Uncle Dave did a rockin job at bowling... but not so much at tennis, hahaha. Saturday morning Laura and I watched nephew Nate, and he was jammin out to Bob Marley as we fed him his lunch, he was bobbin his head to the beat and lovin it.

Today is mom's Bday and we are all going to go out to the grave later today to say Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday. We love and miss her so much. We look forward to the day when we can see her again. Happy Birthday mom!!

Well here we are finally updating our blog. Sorry its taken me forever. We have awesome news though, and I'm sure a lot of you all already know, but we found out two weeks ago that we are having a boy!! We are sooo excited!! His name will be Jack Douglas Elder... what a stud. We are very very excited and are looking forward to having him bless our lives. Laura is doing great, she is looking fantastically beautiful and is feeling great. She is working for her dad's health care company and is liking that. Work is going good for me at University of Phoenix. School is good and I only have four more classes to complete and then I am done!! Woo hoo!! Things are going awesome. We feel very blessed and are so grateful for everything that has taken place lately, we are sooooo excited. Here are some pics of Thanksgiving... enjoy

Everything was put together well and Uncle Sam married us. It was the best thing ever looking at Laura and holding her hand and saying "I do" to committing my everything to her, and it was the raddest thing hearing her say "I do" as well! I was like, "yes"!! What up family and friends! So here we are trying out this new blogspot thingy, we thought we could make our own page to keep everyone updated on the haps. As you all know I asked the lovely Laura to be my wife on Thursday September 13, 2007. It was such an awesome night!! We went to outback steak house, Laura was craving prime ribs... yummm, and I was going to wait until after dinner to ask her, but I couldnt wait. Before we ate she went to the ladie's room and I slipped our server the ring and asked him to bring it out when we wanted our "dessert". After we ate I asked for the "dessert", she wasn't too excited to eat the so called dessert that I had ordered and I reassured her that she would like it, and if not then I would eat it all. Then the server brought the ring and she was sooo shocked!! She loved it! I asked her to marry me and told her how much I love her and she said yes!! Afterwards we went to the temple and walked around the grounds and had a really special time there. I am so excited to have Laura as my wife. I feel so grateful to Heavenly Father for bringing us into eachother's lives. This is going to rock!! Enjoy a couple pics of us...
